Monday, December 17th, 2007It all seems a long time ago when first asked for a mix at local pub where a good friend of mine dj’d. That was a mere ten years ago in 1996. It was from then I was hooked. With a regular cover slot for my mate on 2 teac CD players and basic mixer I wanted to learn how to mix. My first purchase was a pair of soundlab belt drive decks and mixer!! After many hours of perseverence I taught myself to beatmix and have never looked back. In 2001 I got my first residency at a local club doing a Fri slot 10 - 2.30 playing cheese and party with some commercial dance and everything went from there. Now five years on I am still resident for the same company playing 7 sets a week over five nights covering just about any genre you could wish for. My passion however has always been with house and dance music and I like anything that has a great bassline!! Something you can get your groove onto!! My philosophy is Keep it Funky, play it loud!!
